US Budget/Spending Put into Family Context
Now assume there is no limit to the credit card, and they make payments with money they print themselves!
This will end badly.
In addition to their bank and credit card debt this family also has promised to support cats, and dogs in the neighborhood, the local police force and others to the tune of $700,000. This represents the US equivalent of unfunded obligations such as medicare, medicaid, student loads, etc of 70 to 100 Trillion dollars.
