Sean Devlin and Shireen Soofi with Bridgette Depape Make their point.

The matter is largely being called a "security" issue by CBC because the issue is Harper and his neglect of climate change. But the point is mute: Armed with black aprons, and a fierce ideology, they snuck in, raised their protest signs and were unRCMPmerrily tossed out.

Its hard to critcize them and praise the likes of a "Mandela" at the same time, the same ethic is at work, passive, peaceful resistance in the face of an implacable administration and an ever present black garbed security force.

The fact that Devlin and Soofi made them look inept and incompetent will be a talking point for a while.

What we need is a frank discussion about how the public can speak truth to power without these kinds of shenanigans.

What we have instead, is a prime minister who ran on one set of ideals and has become a characature of
the slimey polician ever since:

HARPER... "My instinct is, when somebody doesn't answer questions, even simple and innocuous questions in a straight forward manner... there may be something 'else'"

HARPER... "When you are under the kind of cloud, and your government admits it is under one...I think you would use every opportunity to be as forthright as possible (insert smirk here)"

Political Capital of Harper> past best before date.
